What we do
At The Disco Dog Club, we are committed to giving each rescued dog the care and support they need before finding their perfect forever home.
Rescue – We save dogs from euthanasia lists, neglectful situations, and homelessness, ensuring they get a second chance.
Rehabilitation – Every dog receives medical care, vaccinations, spay/neuter services, and behavioral training to help them heal and thrive.
Rehoming – We carefully match dogs with loving, responsible adopters, creating lifelong bonds and happy endings.
Education & Outreach – Through advocacy and awareness, we promote responsible pet ownership, spay/neuter programs, and better lives for all animals.

About our Directors
Klarisa
Klarisa has always shared a deep connection with dogs, a bond that stems from her upbringing in a family that cherished and valued them as companions. Growing up surrounded by dogs, she developed an understanding of their needs, emotions, and unwavering loyalty. This early love for animals has shaped her life’s path, intertwining with her professional career and personal mission to make a difference in the world of rescue. For Klarisa, dogs are more than just pets—they are family, and her dedication to their well-being is at the core of everything she does. The Disco Dog Club has been Klarisa’s brainchild for some time now, and she is excited to see it come to fruition and is proud of the work that has been done to launch this project. With the help of her tech savvy Husband, Zack, and the support from her family, The Disco Dog Club is now open!
As a nurse by profession, Klarisa has found a meaningful way to blend her medical expertise with her passion for helping animals. She has a particular soft spot for fostering dogs with medical needs, providing them with the care and attention they require to heal and thrive. While she has a deep affection for brachycephalic breeds, she remains committed to rescuing dogs of all breeds, ages, and life stages. Under her leadership, The Disco Dog Club will remain a safe haven for all types of dogs in need.
Through her experiences as a foster, Klarisa has witnessed firsthand the heartbreaking reality of shelter life and the overwhelming number of animals in need of rescue. While the impact of her work may seem small at first, she remains hopeful that The Disco Dog Club can grow into a force that creates lasting change in the community. She believes that even the smallest act of kindness can ripple outward, inspiring others to take action and support animals in the same way they support us in our moments of need. Klarisa’s mission extends beyond rescue—she is passionate about advocacy, education, and building a network of compassionate individuals who share a common goal of saving and rehabilitating animals.
Together with her husband, Zack, and her awesome pack of frenchies, Klarisa is committed to creating a more inclusive and supportive dog rescue community. Their shared vision goes beyond just rescuing animals; they aim to advocate for animal rights, foster stronger community connections, and promote inclusivity for both humans and animals alike. Klarisa firmly believes that rescue work is not just about saving dogs—it is about investing in relationships, building trust, and creating a space where both animals and people can thrive. Through The Disco Dog Club, she hopes to inspire others to stand up for the voiceless, take action, and be part of a movement that brings meaningful change to the lives of both animals and the people who love them.
Zack
Zack is a dedicated advocate for animal welfare whose love for dogs is matched by his strong leadership and problem-solving skills. With a background in both IT infrastructure and leadership, Zack has spent years guiding teams, streamlining operations, and solving complex challenges—experience he now applies to running a nonprofit rescue. His goal is simple: to ensure that The Disco Dog Club can operate efficiently, maximize its impact, and devote more time and resources to saving dogs and finding them loving homes.
Zack’s love for dogs runs deep, and his personal experiences as a dog parent have fueled his commitment to making a difference in the rescue world. At home, his own dogs are more than just pets—they are family, constant reminders of why this mission matters. By adopting and fostering dogs, some with special needs, he has witnessed firsthand the unconditional love and loyalty that they have to offer, which only strengthens his resolve to give every rescue dog the same chance at a safe and happy life.
Through his experiences in leadership and technology, Zack has also come to understand the overwhelming challenges that rescues face—limited resources, administrative burdens, and the sheer volume of animals in need. While the scope of the problem can feel daunting, he remains hopeful that The Disco Dog Club can grow into a force that creates lasting change in the community. He believes that efficiency and innovation in rescue work can save more lives, and that even small improvements in how rescues operate can have a ripple effect, inspiring others to take action.
This vision led Zack to create RescueSphere, a platform designed to empower rescues by leveraging technology to simplify operations, optimize resources, and improve collaboration. He recognized that many rescues struggle not because of a lack of dedication, but because of the immense workload required to keep them running. RescueSphere was built to bridge that gap—offering streamlined administrative tools, automation for fundraising and donor management, and data-driven insights that help rescues focus on what truly matters: saving lives.
Zack’s mission extends beyond simply running a rescue—he is passionate about advocacy, education, and empowering others to make a difference. He envisions a future where animal welfare is strengthened through community support, modern solutions, and a shared commitment to giving every dog a second chance. With his leadership, The Disco Dog Club and RescueSphere are not just changing the lives of dogs—they are building a movement to create a more compassionate and efficient rescue network for all.
